Photobucket

In this episode Happy Trees(Paul) returns from the couch and appears on mic. We get baked as we talk about some of our favorite munchies, put the call out for some recipes(you can send yours to the40til5show@gmail.com), and Paul's first time stoned story before talking about comic book movies. Please to enjoy!

Music in order of appearance:

"Chinese Freestyle Rap" by CKY (Kind of hard to find. Good Luck!)

"I Don't Know" by The Beastie Boys off the album "Hello Nasty"

"Tighten Up" by The Black Keys off the album "Brothers"

40til5 #6: Super High Thanksgiving Special

Photobucket

In this week's episode we celebrate Thanksgiving by getting super high. We got a hold of this weed the guy called "death," and while that doesn't even sound appealing, the smoke was quite effective. We fall off the rails pretty quickly, and never quite get back on.

Along the way we attempt to talk about our first listener contribution and a few Randy's Dandies(haha, now it's in writing Dolph), before we move on to some Thanksgiving related topics.

Finally, we close out the show with a 20+ minute discussion of Call of Duty: Black Ops, which happens to be the most focused segment of the whole show. Go figure.

Don't forget to send us your emails. We want more listener contributions. We'll put them on the show. the40til5show@gmail.com Also don't forget to subscribe with Itunes, and leave a review.

Peace

Music in Order of Appearance:

"Cut Your Hair" by Pavement off the album "Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain"

"It Was a Good Day" by Ice Cube off the album "Predators"

"Suzanne Vega" by Felt off the album "A Tribute to Christina Ricci"

"25 to Life" by Eminem off the album "Recovery"

Special Announcement

Photobucket

Changes happen, and even with all the medicinal marijuana we consume daily, we are not immune. Starting with next week's Thanksgiving special, The 40 til 5 Show will be moving to Tuesdays at 4:20 pm central time. We will release at that time regularly for the foreseeable future, however as has already been stated, we smoke a lot of pot and thus the future is hazy.

In the mean time, don't forget to subscribe to the show with Itunes and leave us a review.

Peace

40til5 #5: Islamabad

Photobucket

In this episode we smoke bong loads of keef, or kief, while we talk about some stuff. For the uneducated, keef refers to the resin glands (or trichomes) of loose cannabis buds. Keef contains a much higher concentration of desired psychoactive ingredients, primarily THC, so needless to say, we get fucked up. Maybe more than usual. With that in mind, enjoy the show!

Intro Music: "Paper Planes" by M.I.A. off the album "Kala"

Break Music: "Doin' Time" by Sublime off the album "Sublime"

Outro Music: "Mouthing Off" by Ludacris feat. 4-Ize off the album "Back for the First Time"

40til5 #4: Games Games Games (part 1)

Photobucket

In this episode we toss aside the usual format, and spend the entire episode talking about videogames. We still get hella baked though, as usual, and we rip a bong for the first time on the show. Enjoy!

Oh, and if you feel we missed a game you loved, email us. Tell us why it deserves to be on the list, and maybe we'll put it there. the40til5show@gmail.com Use it!

Peace!

Intro Music: "I Don't Want to Set the World on Fire" by The Ink Spots from the soundtrack of Fallout 3

Break Music: The original Super Mario Bros. theme

Outro Music: "What You Know About That" by T.I. Remixed by Team Canada (Not sure where you can get this, I lucked into it on the internet. It's awesome though.)

Then we introduce two more cast members, Swany and the fabled "Producer" Ian before we get into some prop 19 discussion(recorded prior to the vote, so no results here). Finally we wrap up the show with the origins of Captain Hook and some unused porno names. Oh, and we smoke a lot of marijuana! So grab your favorite utensil, and let's get high...
